CHINA-ASEAN EDUCATION INFORMATION NETWORK Background Information
 The close geographical relationship and the strengths of China-ASEAN link in terms of economy and politics offers a bright prospect for educational cooperation and exchanges between two sides. In order to promote the cooperation in education between ASEAN and China, the First China–ASEAN Education Cooperation Week will be held in Guizhou province in July, 2008. The project aims at setting up a platform for cooperation and exchanges to enhance the mutual understanding and communication among the youth, to deepen the intercollegiate cooperation, and hence to push forward the common development of economy and culture among China and ASEAN countries.
