International Cooperation and Exchanges
SYSU takes an active part in collaboration with overseas universities and educational institutions, and has established and maintained long-term collaboration with: Asian Studies Department/Chinese Department of Columbia University (USA), Princeton University (USA), Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Korea), Dongguk University (Korea), Sungshin Women's University (Korea), Myongji University (Korea), Daito Bunka University (Japan), Soka University (Japan), Hanoi University (Vietnam), Hochiminh City University of Social Sciences & Humanities (Vietnam), and Huachiew Chalermpraket University (Thailand). The modes of collaboration between SYSU and these overseas institutions include: SYSU accepting students sent by partner institutions, sending teachers to teach in partner institutions, co-operation in compiling teaching materials, inviting experts to give lectures at SYSU, holding international academic conferences, running joint education programs for undergraduates of partner universities.
