Confucius Institute at Phuket, Prince of Songkla University
Background
Confucius Institute at Phuket, Prince of Songkla University in collaboration with Shanghai University, People’s Republic of China officially opened on December 24th , 2006 at Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus. As authorized by The Office of Chinese Language Council International (HANBAN), The Confucius Institute at Phuket, Prince of Songkla University shall be a non-profit institution providing Chinese Teaching, academic research and promotion of Chinese Culture.
The Purpose
In order to strengthen the friendly relations between China and Thailand, Confucius Institute at Phuket, Prince of Songkla University is a welfare teaching institution, which aims to promote the Chinese Language and culture to the public by providing the local people with the opportunity to learn Chinese and knowedge about China’s society in high-quality conditions.
Activities and Services

l Chinese Language Courses for special purposes for the public: Chinese Language for teachers, Chinese Language for tour guides, Chinese Language for business, Chinese Language for HSK Test, etc……
