On June 12th , 2008, Mr. Sachihiko Ogawa, General Consultant of Shinnyo – En (Japan) and Assoc. Prof. Pham Trong Quat, Vice-President of Vietnam National University (VNU) signed a joint MOU on Shinnyo scholarship program for VNU gifted high-school and university students. According to the MOU, VNU and SHINNYO-EN will jointly organize the Scholarship Awarding Ceremony twice a year.The first awarding ceremony will take place from October to November for students receiving scholarships for the first time which is based on their examination results. (70 gifted high-school and 25 university students). Also, students receiving scholarships for the second time.The second awarding ceremony will take place from February to March: 25 university students will receive scholarships for the first time based on their previous term results. The amount of each scholarship for gifted high-school students: 80USD/a student/a year and for university students is 120USD/ a student/a year. After the signing ceremony, Shinnyo – En conferred 25 scholarships to poor family students from UNU with good academic results. |
