2011 is the 20th Anniversary of Dialogue Relations between China and ASEAN.
In order to deepen the bilateral strategic partnership, promote mutual understanding
and friendship between the people and strengthen exchange and cooperation in such
fields as culture, education and youth, the year 2011 has been identified as
China-ASEAN Friendly Year by Primer Wen Jiabao at the 13th China-ASEAN
Summit in Hanoi, Vietnam in 2010. As one of the celebration activities, Guizhou
University will organize the ASEAN Students’ View on China Photo Show sponsored
by the Ministry of Education, China in October 2011. The exhibition aims to promote
the understanding of ASEAN students towards China and develop friendly
relationships among the younger generations.
Detailed information is as follows:
I．Themes
Focus on China, Pass on Friendship.
II．Purposes
Taking advantage of pictures going beyond human language, participants are
expected to record every splendid moment during their stay in China based on their
own experiences including what one sees and hears, thus promoting mutual
understanding and friendship between China and ASEAN people.

ASEAN students who are currently studying in China or studied in China

An evaluation committee will be responsible for reviewing all the photos
submitted on the basis of fairness and justice.

The First Place: 5 Persons
The Second Place: 10 Persons
The Third Place: 20 Persons
Honorable Mention: 65 Persons
Organizing Prize: TBD
VIII ． Awarding Ceremony and Autumn Camp on Guizhou
Traditional Culture and Custom
The prize winners will be invited to attend the Awarding Ceremony at Guizhou
University and participate in the Autumn Camp in Guizhou Province. All the award
wining works will be exhibited on the China-ASEAN Education Information Network
Website and compiled into an album.
IX．Schedule
Mid Sept. - Early Oct.: Registration and Submission
11th Oct.-13th Oct.: Evaluation
14th 0ct. - 22nd Oct.: Compilation of awards works, Preparation for exhibition and
awarding ceremony
23rd Oct.-26th Oct.: The prize winners will be invited to attend the Awarding
Ceremony at Guizhou University and participate in the
Autumn Camp in Guizhou Province.
