Jointly sponsored by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of P. R. China, Ministry of Education of P.R. China, and the People’s Government of Guizhou Province, the Second China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week (“Cooperation Week” called hereafter) will be held in The Second China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week intends to follow up the consensus reached in Guiyang Statement, and to substantially push forward the implementation of the achievements made in the First China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, to enhance and develop China-ASEAN Educational Cooperation. The Cooperation Week consists of four parts: China-ASEAN University Rectors Forum, Seminar for China-ASEAN Higher Educational Administrators, Youth Summer Camp, and Seminar on China-ASEAN Environmental Education. Seminar on China-ASEAN Environmental Education will focus on the following aspects: 1. Talent Cultivation, Students Mobility, Mutual Recognition of Credits 2. Academic Exchange, Language Teaching Collaboration 3. 4. Conceptualization of China-ASEAN Intercollegiate Collaborations and Suggestions In the Seminar for China-ASEAN Higher Educational Administrators, special attention will be given to the exchange on the progress of the implementation of the intercollegiate collaboration agreement approved in Guiyang Statement. To push forward more exchanges and deeper development of higher education cooperation between problems or difficulties arising in the collaboration will be made; it intends to work out plans for the cooperative programs in the near future.
