The first China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week was successfully held in Guiyang, P. R. China from July 26^th to August 1^st, 2008. In order to follow up the implementation of the programs agreed in Guiyang Statement, to share information and experiences in carrying out substantial cooperation and exchanges, and hence push forward economic and cultural exchanges and development in the region, the Second China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Guizhou Province, P. R., China, will be held in Guiyang from August 5^th to August 8^th , 2009.

The event will consist of four parts: China-ASEAN University Rectors Forum, Seminar for China-ASEAN Higher Educational Administrators, Youth Summer Camp, and Seminar on China-ASEAN Environmental Education.
